Sam Cope is the Director of Digital Accounts Strategy, Americas, for world-leading B2B music distributor, FUGA – a part of Downtown Music.
Based in New York, Sam has had a prolific career spanning over 10 years within the music industry and across all areas of music streaming. With previous roles including Label Relations Manager for Soundcloud, Content Strategy Manager for Live Nation (as part of their in-house YouTube MCN) and Associate Director, Playlisting, Editorial & Data Insights for HITCO, a record label founded by LA Reid, Sam’s expertise in streaming has allowed her to master the intricacies of global DSPs. With a deep proficiency and understanding of how to help leverage platform capabilities amongst labels and artists, Sam has comprehensive insight into how to utilize the built-in marketing tools of each music streaming service to best serve content and campaign objectives.
Joining FUGA in 2020 as the Streaming & Label Manager for North America, Sam quickly progressed to become the Director of Digital Accounts Strategy for the Americas, where she oversees DSP relationships and pitching for US, as well as leading FUGA’s Digital Accounts Strategy Team in the Americas.
