Now in its 42nd year, the Canadian Music Week (CMW) Conference is still the premier annual music business and networking event in Canada. Returning in 2024 live in person, we promise to deliver a world class experience in the heart of Toronto once again. CMW is an annual entertainment event dedicated to the expression and growth of the country’s music, media and entertainment industries. Combining multifaceted information-intensive conferences; a trade exposition; awards shows and the nation’s largest new music festival which spans 8 nights of in-person and virtual performances (June 1-8 2024) with hundreds of bands.
We acknowledge we are a respectful guest upon the Traditional Treaty Territory of the Mississauga’s of the Credit First Nation, and traditional homeland of the Anishinabewaki, Wendat and Haudenosaunee nations.
This territory is covered by the Upper Canada Treaties, is within the lands protected by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, an agreement between the Iroquois Confederacy and the Ojibwe and allied nations to peaceably share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes. We are thankful to the many First Nations, Inuit, Métis and global Indigenous peoples who call this region home.
