For 25 years, Kathryn Waugh, owner of Music Matters, has provided clients, from major corporations and worldwide productions to independent performers and songwriters, with in- depth advice on rights registration, royalty distribution, licensing and music business development. Kathryn has also developed and taught courses for some of the most prominent post-secondary music schools in the GTA. She is currently the Program Coordinator for the Music Business Management program at Durham College, where she also teaches. Kathryn is passionate about sharing her knowledge of the music industry and helping artists achieve their dreams. Through Music Matters, Kathryn is proud to present a series of workshops to help songwriters and performers navigate the Music Industry.
