Winnipeg native Zack Werner has enjoyed a varied and extensive career in the music industry as an artist, producer, record executive, entertainment lawyer, music educator and manager. Currently, Zack is head of business development at LyricFind, the premier company worldwide in the monetization and administration of song lyrics and lyric data. For all six seasons, Zack was a judge on the massive hit tv series Canadian Idol and judged on World Idol.
With a B.A. from the University of Minnesota and a law degree from the University of British Columbia Werner was President of Toronto-based Venus Management and Venus Records (distributed by EMI), working with such artists as esthero, Len, Robin Black, Skye Sweetnam, Patricia O’Callaghan, Tara Slone, Down With Webster and producers James Robertson and Martin McKinney.
