Jason Mayall is director of the London office for Japanese concert promoter Smash Corporation. Established in 1984, Smash promotes concerts and headline tours year-round in Japan.
Smash produce Fuji Rock Festival which is Asia’s largest outdoor festival, held annually in the mountains of Naeba, Niigata. The company’s UK office produce and co ordinate the arts around the festival and create the Palace of Wonder, an area that presents circus and mayhem.
The Smash team aim to introduce a colourful mix of acts from around the globe to Japanese audiences.
Jason is also known as βThe Cumbia Kidβ, DJing a wide selection of Ska, reggae, blues, soul, funk and championing “Cumbia”, the traditional dance music of Columbia.
