Hope got her start in the late ‘90s when she founded her own boutique record label in Montreal catering to Urban artists. She took on artist management when she discovered Taigenz, an upcoming HipHop/Afrobeat artist. Under her tenure, Taigenz has released a couple of EPs since the fall of 2021 “Life Ain’t Free” with distribution through Slammin Media/Believe Distribution Services and “Life A Life”.
Taigenz’s two singles from the album “Lemme Ball” and “Speak the Truth” have allowed him to reach an international audience with more than 150,000+ streams from countries as diverse as Brazil, Turkey or Spain. In 2019, Taignez’s track “Satisfied” debuted on the iTunes Turkey Top 200 Hip-Hop charts (peak position #45). He is the winner for “Best Infused Hip-Hop Song” at the Indie Grind Music Awards for his 2021 standalone single “Foolish Money”.
In spring 2022 he released his EP “Life A Life” where one of his tracks “Pas Idée” was on heavy rotation on SiriusXM in 2022/2023, he followed up with the Deluxe EP version in winter 2023.
At the moment Hope is working on his next EP which will be released in the Fall of 2024, with singles that started releasing since late fall of 2023. Taigenz will be performing at New Skool Rules in Rotterdam as at CMW 2024.
Hope oversees a small catalogue of pre-cleared music for synch.
