Hailing from the west coast of Canada, Grace Chiang is one part ambitious creative, one part methodical idea architect. From classical pianist to civil engineer to assistant audio engineer at Vancouver’s Echoplant Recording Studios, she now blazes a trail as producer and songwriter. Recent highlights include: selected producer-songwriter for Songwriters Association of Canada Pro Songworks Camp at Universal Music 80A Studio in 2023; participant of RBC Launchpad Music Entrepreneurship program 2023, song placement in short film “Last Night” for Vancouver Asian Film Festival 2023, selected producer for Music Publishers Canada’s Women in the Studio national accelerator 2022, and finalist in Music BC’s Canadian Songwriter Challenge 2021. Grace was also a production mentee in She is the Music’s Connect Together program, mentored by Grammy-nominated vocal producer Simone Torres. When she is not producing music, you will find Grace producing showcases, conferences, and professional development initiatives for women and underrepresented artists.
