Gabi Kochlani is an A&R executive and music publisher who’s best known for empowering emerging talent. Currently, she’s the Founder of The Grey Administration where she facilitates creative collaboration for songwriters, producers, and artists globally. Also driven by a passion for equality in the arts, Gabi is the visionary and founder behind PopOut LA, the first-ever LGBTQ+ focused music industry conference. This groundbreaking event, held at the LGBT Center in Hollywood, serves to foster inclusivity and empowerment within the industry.

Previously, her multi-decade career included A&R positions at Universal Music, Elektra Records, EMI Music Publishing, and Bump Into Genius/Warner-Chappell Music – ultimately signing and developing multi-platinum songwriters such as Ben Burgess and Mikal Blue. Before that, she worked in management for Crosby, Stills & Nash, toured with Miley Cyrus and The Jonas Brothers under Disney Concerts, and worked alongside Adam Anders (Executive Music Producer for Fox’s “Glee”). It was during these formative years that Gabi honed her craft, mastering the intricacies of the music business and cultivating invaluable relationships.

When not at her desk, you can find Gabby exploring Los Angeles’ food, fashion and art scene or continuing her search to find the best chocolate in the world.
