For over 25 years David Hazan has been a leading force in the intersection of music, entertainment, events, and tech, committed to growing the businesses and brands of his clients, ranging from startups to legacy media.
David’s deep experience in music marketing includes senior executive positions at The Orchard, Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group, VH1/MTV Networks, Putumayo World Music, and Wind-up Records where, earlier in his career as Executive VP of Sales and Marketing, he created and directed the marketing and release campaigns for multi-platinum Grammy winners Evanescence. More recently David served as Head of North America for Midem, a leading industry event serving the global music community.

He has also held leadership roles at leading experiential marketing agencies including US Concepts/MKTG and EMCI/Rockbill, where he ran their London office.
David is a frequent speaker, interviewer and moderator at leading global industry events and has curated 50+ physical and virtual panels in recent years including Music Tectonics, MusicBiz, SXSW, NIVA, Mondo NYC, Indie Week, NOLA Music Tech, IEG, Play Music Conference, FestForums, Midem, MU:CON and Canadian Music Week where he also produced the CMW and O’Cannabiz hackathons. He has also hosted 6 sessions on the Smartest People in the Room interview series.
When not traveling to industry conferences David resides in Nyack, NY with his family where he enjoys playing drums and attending as many live music events as possible.
