Chris got his start in the music industry as an A&R co-ordinator at Island Records in the early noughties, working with such artists as Amy Winehouse, U2, PJ Harvey & Sugababes. In 2007 he joined AAM as Mark Ronson’s UK manager. Whilst there he was instrumental in building a UK roster with global hits including Dua Lipa’s ‘New Rules’, Zayn Malik’s ‘Pillow Talk’ and Jess Glynne’s ‘Hold My Hand’ among collaborations with artists such as Khalid, Tove Lo, Tinie Tempah, Years & Years, Paloma Faith, Nao, H.E.R., Sigrid and many more. Chris joined TaP Music in 2018 working across TaP Records, TaP Publishing and adding A&R support for TaP’s managed artists including Dua Lipa, Ellie Goulding, Hailee Steinfeld, Dermot Kennedy, Grace Carter & Claudia Valentina.
