A Canton, Ohio native, Charlene Bryant previously resided in Nashville, Tennessee, where she enrolled at Belmont University. Throughout her time at Belmont, she garnered internships with Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, and Warner Music Group. Upon graduating, Charlene managed a live music venue. After two years of increased record attendance at the venue, she pivoted and began working on the record label side of the business. Her first role was on the Production/Distribution team at Universal Music Group. Subsequently, she went on to join the Commercial Partnerships team at Sony Music Entertainment, where she managed the relationships with various digital service providers (music streaming companies).
