I started my first steps at Discus in Quebec City and then moved to Montreal and HMV Superstore became my home away from home. My career took another direction from then on and went towards distribution. Cargo Records (sales representative), BMG Musique Canada for the next 7 years (also as a representative), then DEP Distribution Exclusive, followed by a year in France in International Marketing for Milan Musique. Then back to Canada at Outside Music Distribution for 11 years. Propagande Distribution and now Believe Digital Distribution. I have seen the LPs and cassettes taken off the shelves to be replaced by CDs. I have witnessed the full force return of the LP. I watched the fall of Napster, just to see them comeback and have many new friends like Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, Amazon Music, You Tube Music and many others. Music is not only a product, it’s a passion, a way of life, someone’s personal experiences. To me, it’s all that and more.
