Music Metadata is often talked about though rarely really understood. Marc Brown (Byta) moderates a discussion with three music metadata experts on what exactly the “music metadata problem”, the effects this problem has on credits and royalties and how the problems can be solved. Insights come from the people creating the solution for better and cleaner metadata (Chris McMurtry), those working and analysing metadata to gain insights (Christine Osazuwa) and those building the new platforms (Sachal Vasandani) to support rights holders in doing their part.
