Creating a Web3Metaverse For All
(Moderator: Steve Masur) Recent crisis conditions gave tech researchers the push they needed to make sci-fi real. Web3 โ the decentralized Internet โ and the metaverse, a new frontier of online immersive experience, came to life as the urge to connect became urgent. Fortnite users got to see an Ariana Grande concert where she rose from underground and playfully โhitโ fans with a hammer. Lil Nas X had his own concert experience on Roblox, with a motion-captured avatar. But advances are coming to make the metaverse more than a plaything for superstars. All artists and industry professionals will soon have a stake in the future, and the ability to give any live event metaverse access. This panel will focus on some of the tech fused music based immersive activations that are gaining real and lasting music fan traction.
