A Commerce graduate from McMaster University, Jeffrey Remedios entered the music business via an internship in the promotions department of Virgin/EMI. Almost a decade later, while serving as National Promotions Director, Remedios left Virgin, co-founding Arts & Crafts in 2002 with Broken Social Scene frontman Kevin Drew.

In the 10 years since heʼs grown the label into one of the world's most influential and successful independent music companies, putting out records by the likes of BSS, Feist, Stars, Apostle Of Hustle, Jason Collett and many more. He also remains a frontline artist manager for cornerstone A&C artists BSS and Timber Timbre.

Jeffrey oversees all aspects of A&C business and has worked tirelessly to establish it as a global brand, evidenced by the creation of successful subsidiary A&C Mexico and unique label, management, publicity and publishing, ticketing and merchandising divisions. In 2009, Rolling Stone Magazine cited Jeffrey as a key insider shaping the future of the music business and he currently sits on the Board of Directors for both the Foundation Assisting Canadian Talent on Recordings (FACTOR) and the Canadian Independent Music Association (CIMA).
