Began career as drummer for Jazz Orchestra on Carnival Cruise Lines. In 1995 Joined fre Records in the Promotion/A&R department, created Bif Naked’s first #1 single. In 1999 joined Zomba Records (Britney Spears, *NSYNC, and Backstreet Boys), releasing their biggest albums, as a regional rep and was responsible for all artist promotion while in Toronto. In 2000 launched Canadian Music Network (Music Trade Mag/Tip Sheet) with Steve McLean for Donald K Donald and John Woodruff, as Vice President and Music Editor we were responsible to “pick” and break first singles for Sam Roberts, Avril Lavigne and other artists in Canada before they were released. 2001, I joined DMD Entertainment as President and promoted the debut radio singles and videos for Arcade Fire, Broken Social Scene, and Alexisonfire. Secured MMVA performances and handled the Wakestock Music Festival Marketing and PR who moved to Toronto Island doubling the attendance every year and put together a national TV special with MuchMusic.

In 2003, through DMD I started working with upstart EDM label Ultra Records building the brand and breaking artists like David Guetta, Tiesto and deadmau5. With the breakthrough success of Pitbull and his #1 single “I Know You Want Me” I became Co-President of Ultra Records Canada in 2010. In addition to DMD duties handling promotion for The Weeknd and other artists and labels in Canada and my DMD duties I started an artist development company StrongSongs Inc which works very closely with Grammy Award winning master creators bringing Canadian artists to the world. In 2012, I started working with World Vision Canada connecting artists to humanitarian opportunities around the world with children in need.
