For the past several years, Erin Lowers has spent her time diving into the worlds of music journalism, digital content creation and festival programming with the hopes of pushing the Canadian music community, specifically hip-hop and R&B music, to the forefront of the entertainment industry. Since her first interaction with the music industry over a decade ago, Erin has worked with several music and culture outlets (Pound Magazine, XXL, Georgie Magazine, Boi-1da.com etc.), and now serves as the first woman to hold the Hip-Hop Editor position at Exclaim! Magazine, and is also currently working on the Emmy Award-winning series, Hip-Hop Evolution.
