JON MCMILLAN is a founder and principal of mtheory. Prior to mtheory, Jon was a Manager in Warner Music Group’s Artist Services division, working closely with WMG’s labels to monetize the full suite of “360” rights globally on WMG Global Priority acts. He worked with Fueled By Ramen, Atlantic Records, WEA, and Warner Music International to design and implement the global rollout plan for Paramore, WMGʼs flagship 360 artist, coordinating worldwide merchandise, D2C, fan club, ticketing and sponsorship initiatives. Prior to WMG, he worked as a Senior Copywriter for the Boston, MA advertising firm DiBona, Bornstein & Random, where he developed marketing strategies and creative campaigns for national clients like Pioneer Investments and Sodexho USA. Jon holds a Masters in Fine Arts, has published numerous short stories and been a Columnist and Video Producer for the influential music website Stereogum.com.
