Leading a small but mighty team of motivated, creative professionals, Mendoza is responsible for marketing and brand partnership strategy for The JUNO Awards, Canada's #1 Music Brand.

He leads the ongoing transformation of the JUNOS’ partnership approach to a customized, marketing solutions-based ethos that integrates brands into the "story of Canadian music" through meaningful connections with Canadian artists and their fans.

Strategies include innovative digital content, experiential and activation initiatives for partners like TD, Google Play Music, Virgin Mobile, Jackson-Triggs, Metro Ontario, Casper, Slaight Music, Samsung, VW, Holt Renfrew, SiriusXM, HMV, CBC Music and others.

The marketing strategy is centred on high-value integrated media partnerships with Snapchat, Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, Ticketmaster, Pattison Outdoor, Star Metro Media, Postmedia, CBC, Bell Media and others, leading to sell-out events over the last three years.

This year, Mendoza led successful new partnerships with Jackson-Triggs, Metro Ontario, Virgin Mobile Canada, Nielsen Music Canada, Casper, Music Canada and the host event partnership for CSFX - The 2017 Canadian Sponsorship Forum Xperience.

As a former artist manager, agent, promoter and label marketing executive with an Honours Marketing Diploma, Mendoza thrives in the rapidly evolving space where music and marketing intersect.
