With a career spanning over 25 years Paul has established himself as one of Canada’s leading producers of major concerts, events and festivals.

After having served for many years as technical director and then production manager for countless live events and festivals throughout Canada he went on to oversee multiple worldwide concert tours for Sarah McLachlan, Avril Lavigne, Dido, Prince, INXS and many others. During this period of over 15 years spent on the road, select highlights included managing production and logistics for the Lilith Fair Festival from 1997-1999 as well as producing two major Pacific Tsunami benefit concerts in 2005 that raised over $3m for relief efforts.

In 2006 he stepped away from his touring career to help launch brand.LIVE as a full service boutique concert and event agency, which has grown to a fulltime staff of 25. In the early years, brand.LIVE was awarded several major Olympic contracts, and Paul oversaw all aspects of the design and build of both Vancouver House and Alberta house, with the latter winning the “Best Pavilion” award.

Also in 2009 he had joined the Olympic Ceremonies senior executive team to lead the nightly Winter Olympic medal ceremonies and Headline talent concerts at BC Place stadium where he produced the live presentation of the first ever gold medal awarded to a Canadian Athlete on home soil.

In 2010 Paul orchestrated the creation and growth of the multi-award winning “Squamish Valley Music Festival” which became one of the most respected festivals in North America, with headliners including Eminem, Arcade Fire, Drake, Mumford & Sons and many others attracting in excess of 350,000 attendees and generating $130m dollars in economic activity during it’s six year run.

In 2012 he was the Executive Producer behind Sarah McLachlan’s “Voices in the Park” fundraising concert at Stanley Park, which featured Stevie Nicks, Bryan Adams, President Bill Clinton and many others. In 2014 he took on the responsibility as lead producer for the Grey Cup Festival in Vancouver, a role he had also played in the 2011 Festival in Vancouver and 2009 Festival in Calgary.

More recently he oversaw the rebirth of a major public New Year’s Eve celebration in downtown Vancouver that attracted over 120,000 and is already working on the growth strategy for 2016. He is recognized as a leader in the field of major event safety and contingency planning and is the ongoing Executive Producer for the Celebration of Light fireworks festival, recognized as the largest offshore fireworks competition in the world

Paul lives in North Vancouver with wife Catherine and their 9 year old son Griffin.
