FACTOR, The Foundation Assisting Canadian Talent on Recordings, today announces the additions of internationally renowned Canadian artist/advocate Tegan Quin and successful artist manager and entrepreneur Chris Smith to its Board of Directors. The announcement was jointly made by FACTOR President and CEO, Meg Symsyk, and Board Chair Steve Parsons.

An outspoken feminist advocate for LGBTQ+ equality and gender justice, she and her sister helm The Tegan and Sara Foundation, a program for improving the lives of LGBTQ+ women and girls. She is also a Canadian ambassador for Keychange, the international movement for gender equality.
