Graham Stairs is currently President of Popguru Sound & Vision, the Shadow Cabinet Music Group and the Confidence Emperors. He manages the Wilderness of Manitoba, Grand Analog, Martha and the Muffins, Pyramid Tropic, Ghost Caravan, Lake Forest, producer/songwriter Martha Johnson, producer/songwriter Mark Gane and producer/mixer/songwriter Matthew Fudge.

Graham has over twenty-nine years of experience in the Canadian and international music business and has been a musician, a songwriter, a record producer, an A&R rep, an artist manager and an independent label owner. He started his career as a member of a band signed to Capitol Records before joining Intrepid Records as an A&R rep and founding Intrepid Management.


From there, he was hired to run Latitude Records, which was a joint venture deal with EMI Music Canada. When the label was bought by EMI, he joined their A&R department before eventually starting Popguru Sound & Vision. He also did International and A&R at True North Records, setting up their international distribution network for artists like Bruce Cockburn. He has been involved with such seminal Canadian artists as National Velvet, Chalk Circle, Barenaked Ladies, Martha and the Muffins, Rheostatics, Damhnait Doyle, Sandbox, the Golden Dogs and Catherine MacLellan. Graham is on the board of directors of the Music Managers Forum Canada and is a member of both CIMA (Canadian Independent Music Association) and CMPA (Canadian Music Publishers Association).
