Rich has been on the business side of music for 10+ years having started his career in music supervision at one of Toronto’s leading audio post production house’s, The Eggplant Collective. There, Rich successfully worked to help place bands, artists, singers and original music compositions in over 300 television commercials including spots for Bell, McDonald’s, Ikea, Mazda, and Chevy.

Currently, Rich is managing the Sync & Licensing department and re-invigorating the publishing entities at Cadence Music Group, which is home and parent company to boutique record labels Physical Presents, Pheromone Recordings, Cadence Recordings and Open Road Recordings and to Canada’s leading independent music distributor, Fontana North, representing the master recording synch rights to over 40 labels in Canada including ATO Records, Partisan Records, Nevado Music, Roll Call Records and Bright Antenna Records. Highlighted artists include: Alabama Shakes, My Morning Jacket, Cigarettes After Sex, Typhoon, Felix Cartal, Taylor Knox, The Trews and Headstones. In less than two years with Cadence Music Group, Rich has landed over 100 placements with brands and broadcasters which include the LCBO, Cavendish Farms, Costa Coffee, New York Fashion Week, NBC, Hockey Night In Canada, Sony Pictures Television, CTV, CBC, and more.
