For over 25 years David Hazan has worked in the entertainment industry where he has held a number of senior positions at top music and media companies, most recently as Head of North America for Midem, a leading industry event serving the global music community.

Over the course of his career, he has consulted 30+ tech, brand, media, event and festival clients including SoundExchange, MDIIO, ViewStub, SongVest, Audioshake, Weav Music, .DOTMUSIC, Qrates, found.ee, Stay22, AEG Network Live, Audible Reality, Omnispace360, Cirque Eloize, Microsoft, Xlrator Media, Festicket, Ottawa Bluesfest, CID Entertainment, Putumayo World Music, TVT, LiveMusicStage, Shout! Factory, Mobile Backstage, GigSalad, as well as the O’Cannabiz, GrowUp and Canadian Music Week conferences, where he continues to curate multiple panels, events and hackathons.

David’s deep music marketing experience includes senior positions held at The Orchard, Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group, VH1/MTV Networks, Putumayo World Music, and Wind-up Records where, earlier in his career as Executive VP of Sales and Marketing, he created and directed the marketing and release campaigns for multi-platinum Grammy winners Evanescence.

He is a frequent speaker, interviewer and moderator at leading industry events around the world including Music Tectonics, IEG, SXSW, MusicBiz, Amplify, Canadian Music Week, Midem, Mondo NYC, Indie Week, Screen x Screen, SF Music Tech, MU:CON, and Smartest People in the Room among others.

David has also held senior positions at leading experiential marketing agencies such as US Concepts/MKTG; UG Strategies; and EMCI / Rockbill, where he ran their London office.

David lives in Nyack, NY with his family.

Marcus Cobb, CEO and Co-founder, Mozaic
Marcus Cobb is CEO and Co-founder of Mozaic, the newly launched, mobile-first distributed payments platform where collaborating musicians and creators at large can build smart contracts and pay people fast and cheaply in hundreds of countries and currencies. As a long-time technologist and product designer with over twenty two years of experience, Cobb’s former enterprises include Jammber, Microsoft’s Healthcare Commerce Innovations, TicketsNow.com (which grew into a $270M acquisition by TicketMaster), CitiGroup, Caesars Entertainment Group, and GE Financial. Cobb is a founding member of the Rolling Stone Culture Council, and has been recognized as Nashville NEXT’s 2019 Entrepreneur of the Year and a top-rated CEO on Comparably.com.

Robert Singerman, SVP, International Publishing, LyricFind Inc.
Known for developing talent and new music business/tech, as an entrepreneur, agent, manager, label executive, consultant, producer, and music supervisor, Singerman has represented R.E.M., Gipsy Kings, James Brown, Suzanne Vega, Violent Femmes, 10,000 Maniacs, Smithereens, Professor Longhair, Allen Toussaint, Fela Kuti, Bad Brains and King Sunny Ade, among many other artists.

His main mission is giving music subtitling solutions, so that music becomes truly global, through the universal understanding of the lyrics. He’s the SVP, International Publishing at LyricFind, licensing and monetizing legal lyrics and lyric translations from the publishers and songwriters around the globe, onto 100+ platforms such as Google Search, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, Deezer, Pandora, SoundHound, IHeartMusic…

Robert directed the EU’s European Music Office, US and The French Music Export Office, North America. He represented the Brasil Music Exchange in North America; and created CAB; Chile, Argentina, Brazil Music Trade Mission Tour annually from 2016 through 2022. He’s assisted trade missions from many countries to many other countries, working with CIMA, A2IM, ABMI, AMAEI, Sounds Australia, Sounds from Spain and other countries, organizations, conferences and export offices, including in LATAM, US, Canada, China, Singapore, Eastern Europe, and Korea. He’s helped write and win three impactful Canadian Indigenous Language Revitalization and Canadian Export grants and two EU grants, for $10M+, including in-kind contributions.

Stacey Bedford, CEO, Bandzoogle
Hired as Bandzoogle’s very first support technician in 2007, Stacey Bedford was named CEO of the music website platform in 2018. Stacey was named an International Power player by Billboard Magazine in 2021, as well as a 2019 Digital Power Player.

A mother of three, Stacey lives in Ottawa with her family, and holds a BA in Economics from Carleton University. She’s also an avid guitar player, beekeeper, and karaoke singer.
