Sophia Salador is a comedy promoter for Live Nation Canada based out of Toronto. Born and raised in Montreal, she studied Film at Concordia University before launching her career working for film festivals in New York, Toronto and Lyon, France.
As a comedy fan from a young age, making the switch from film festivals to comedy was not a difficult choice for Sophia when she landed a role on the programming team at the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal. It was there that she began to curate and produce many successful festivals hosted in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver for nearly a decade.
In 2020 Sophia joined the comedy department at Live Nation as a talent buyer for non-traditional programming not limited to, but including comedy, podcasts, digital creators and drag entertainers. In 2023, she was named Comedy Promoter in Canada and currently oversees all comedy and related shows that Live Nation promotes from coast to coast.
