Marek Hojda, Music Export Poland director and the European Music Exporters Exchange board member. In the past, he served as vice president of the ZAiKS Authors Association, a member of CIAM ExCo, and chairman of the NGO Council to the Minister of Culture. Composer of jazz, pop and rock music, arranger, and vocalist.
 
Marek was born in 1966 in Krakow and graduated from the Jazz Faculty at the University of Music in Katowice in vocal class, arrangements, and compositions. He graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2022 with a “Music Marketing” certificate.
He was a member of famous Polish bands like De Mono, Emigranci, Surzyn Band.
Throughout his career, Marek cooperated with Polish Radio and TV and worked as a music director for dozens of shows. He is also recognised for his extensive works for children, presenting at famous TV shows, composing songs and cooperating with artists like Majka Jeżowska or Aida (Armenian artist, platinum record, 2006). From 1996 to 2002, Marek ran his record label 2Marx, and until 2021 he ran his recording studio Homar Music, collaborating as a music producer with many Polish artists.
