Lexie Jay is a two-time JUNO Award-nominated songwriter and producer and just two years into a full time writing career is quickly becoming known for her impactful storytelling and thoughtful lyrics. With a degree in Opera from the University of Toronto (BMus) and an ear for carving out hooks, Lexie’s diverse musical background has led her to explore various avenues, including film scoring, composition, vocal direction, and of course songwriting and artist development. Currently, Lexie is working on several notable projects, including collaborations with CARYS, Emma Muscat, Shawnee Kish, Asynabee, POESY, and Alex Sampson. Lexie, alongside Marc Koecher, is one-half of Toronto’s writing and production duo Illegal Audio.
Lexie is also the lead singer of FEATURETTE, a critically acclaimed dark pop trio, Lexie’s project has garnered national radio play and international sync (Netflix/CTV/CBC/Global), earning accolades such as COCA’s prestigious Emerging Artist award and Juno Masterclass Finalist.
