Jody is widely known as the owner and operator of one of Canada’s premiere music production companies, Silent Joe. In late 2018, Jody joined forces with music production company Grayson Music Group to form The Wilders; This Toronto-based company writes, arranges and produces music for Film, Television Series and Interactive and Online Content. In addition to this area of expertise, The Wilders have created divisions to meet the challenges of Music Supervision and Music Editing.
Over the past 10 years, Jody and his producers have transitioned the company into multi-formatted productions, now more single-focused on story-based audio; This includes audiobooks, podcasts, and radio plays for both original content and adaptations of existing IP. Jody has worked with, and directed such notable talents as Margaret Atwood, Alec Baldwin, Ken Dryden, Kiefer Sutherland, Donald Sutherland, Tommy Lee Jones, and many, many more. Jody and Silent Joe have been voted top music production house in Canada three times, won every major award, including craft awards for Arrangement, Sound Design, and Composition. Over his thirty-year career, notable credits include:”Sort Of” on CBC and HBO Max, “My Little Pony” on Netflix “Cardinal” on CTV, “Ransom” on CBS, “Falling for A Killer” on Amazon Prime “Dark Matter” and “Lost Girl” on SyFy,“Degrassi”, and many more. Jody and The Wilders have music supervised for all major networks and streamers. In feature films, notable projects include Sarah Polley’s “Take This Waltz” and Mike McGowan’s “Still Mine”. Current projects include Clement Virgo’s “Brother”, “The Young Arsonists” and many more.
Jody is also co-owner of a record company, “The Orange Record Label” and the state of the art recording studio ‘The Orange Lounge’ located in the heart of Downtown Toronto whose clients include: Drake, Nelly Furtado, Amy Winehouse, Black Eyed Peas and Jack Johnson, amongst many others.
