Janet has been with Sony/ATV for over 25 years and has been involved in various facets of Synchronization licensing throughout her tenure. Janet has negotiated and licensed numerous national TV advertising campaigns, including Kraft Heinz, TD Bank, Volvo, Hyundai, Toronto Tourism, Molson, Labatts, Coors and Telus and North American campaigns including Infiniti Automobiles and Proctor and Gamble. Her role has also included negotiating and licensing copyrights with videogame companies, including Ubisoft (“Just Dance” and “Rocksmith” franchises), and Nintendo, as well as smaller, independent companies.

She was instrumental in licensing the music for the worldwide advertising campaign “Little Girls” for Dove’s “Campaign for Real Beauty”, which received several advertising awards. Janet has also worked on many Canadian and US television shows, including most recently, “Schitts Creek”, “La Voix”, “Snowpiercer”, “The Good Witch” and multiple Movies of the Week for “Hallmark”.

Janet has a background education in Music Industry Management, Artist Management and Music Publishing, and in addition to her Film and TV work she is also responsible for the Administration of Sony/ATV’s worldwide catalogue in Canada and ensures that Sony/ATV’s Canadian roster is administered correctly throughout the World.
