Acclaimed as part of the new generation of Toronto’s most sought-after music professionals, producer and engineer Beau Cassidy is a leader in setting the standard for a new generation of music and audio experts. Beau works as a contract engineer for Universal Music’s 80A Studios and for a variety of musical artists and clients, and teaches Recording in the Music for Screen and Stage program at Sheridan College. Beau was an assistant engineer for the album Zhawenim by Digging Roots, which won Contemporary Indigenous Album of the Year at the 2022 Juno Awards. Beau has since worked with artists including Johnny Orlando, Joël Lobban and Feid; he mixes at Raventape Music and 80A Studios, and is also an on-call engineer at Revolution Recording. As of 2024, Beau now also writes and produces from his home studio in the east end queer collective house The Arcade DIY, where regular all ages house shows happen. Beau uses both he/him and sometimes they/them pronouns.
