Andrea Williams was born and raised in Scarborough and is a graduate of the University of Toronto Law School. Her practice is split between representing family offices and asset managers and advising creative entrepreneurs and live music promoters. The growing intersection between her financial world and creative innovation is what motivated her to launch the conference called Cool Out which takes place annually in the Cayman Islands and is produced by her entertainment company Deep Roots Entertainment. Through the Cool Out initiative and speaking at conferences like Canadian Music Week, she aspires to build creative and financial bridges between the Caribbean and the global music and entertainment industries while providing opportunities for education, networking and collaboration for local artists.
