As a music-tech entrepreneur, Billboard #1 singer/songwriter, artist manager, and music-business executive, Adam has seen every side of the music industry. Adam got his start as a recording artist signed to Sony where he quickly learned that he was just as passionate about the business as he was about the music. Starting his own indie label imprint in 2019, Sadboy Records, he signed records from established indie artists such as Kiesza and Sammy Adams as well as helped develop emerging Canadian talent such as Jordan Hart and French Braids. Passionate about alternative revenue streams for indie musicians, he founded Web3 music-tech start-up, NiftyTunes, to facilitate a more direct-to-fan relationship between artists and their supporters via music NFTs. Today, Adam holds the position of Vice President, Business Development at Create Music Group, leading M&A outreach & inbound acquisition deal strategy, internal departmental growth strategy & optimization, as well as net new business opportunitiesĀ (i.e. AI, Web3 etc…).
