Kids Help Phone’s Mental Health Anthem Is A Certified Hit And a Mega Fundraiser

(Moderator: Kevin Barton) Feel Out Loud, a collective of 50+ Canadian artists banded together to record the anthem What I Wouldn’t Do (North Star Calling) in support of Kids Help Phone, Canada’s only 24/7, e-mental health service offering free, confidential support to young people. The anthem coincided with Kids Help Phone’s launch of a $300 million movement, the largest movement for youth mental health in Canada’s history.

The star-studded anthem amplifies mental health conversation and empowers young people to feel out loud. The Music Industry Unites to Drive Meaningful Impact in Mental Health panel will bring together experts in the fields of mental health and music to discuss the correlation between music and mental health and how that can help unify and connect with people of all ages going through difficult times. Topics of discussion include, but are not limited to: The relationship between music and mental health, How music and the arts are helping lift the stigma on mental health issues including over 50+ Canadian artists coming together to record an anthem for Kids Help Phone’s Feel Out Loud movement and historic fundraising campaign, finding and gaining access to resources, and tools to aid in mental health/self-care.
