Canadian Music Week is delighted to announce the opening of submissions for the 23rd Anniversary Jim Beam® INDIE Awards, an annual celebration of the Canadian independent music industry. The Jim Beam® INDIE Awards, a fusion of concert and award ceremony that is always a CMW fan favourite, will take place June 6, 2024 at Danforth Music Hall in Toronto.
The 2024 Jim Beam® INDIE Awards will feature a diverse array of categories, celebrating the spectrum of talent within the independent music scene. Submissions are open now until February 27, 2024 via indies.ca to spotlight 2024’s most influential and inspiring independent artists and professionals across 19 categories.

Roots/Folk Artist of the Year

Please note: The International Artist/Group or Duo of the Year and the “INDIES Hall Of Fame” Award are selected by an esteemed committee of industry peers.
Submissions are open to artists, as well as their representatives – including labels, producers, managers, agents, or publishers. The eligibility window for the 2024 Jim Beam® INDIE Awards for music releases is January 1st, 2023, to April 1st, 2024. Eligible music must be available for all Canadians and for national sale in-store or online via a recognized streaming provider.
