March 25, 2024 (Toronto) – The Guild of Music Supervisors, Canada (GMSC) and Canadian Music Week (CMW) have once again partnered to present the 2024 Canadian Sync Awards!
Celebrating music supervisor excellence and the sync community across Canada, the Sync Awards will take place on Monday, June 3, 2024 at The Westin Harbour Castle in Toronto, Ontario.
Early bird tickets are available now until April 30, 2024 at cmw.net/sync–awards. Information about submissions for nominations, performers, and many other details to be announced shortly.
“We are thrilled to be back for 2024 and with the excitement and great fun that accompanied the 2023 Awards, we wanted to get a head start on the planning and offer some early pricing on tickets. The GMSC look forward to seeing our fellow Sync community colleagues in June,” says Michael A. Perlmutter, President of GMSC.
The purpose of the Guild of Music Supervisors, Canada is threefold: to create awareness amongst production executives of this increasingly significant role in the production of all filmed media projects; to educate emerging Supervisors and create community; and share knowledge amongst colleagues in Canada and work on industry issues, challenges and changing landscapes together to foster solutions for all parties.
