Jashima is a Punjabi-New Yorker and the founder of Ode, a multicultural marketing and talent management agency. She takes a “lived experience meets data,” approach to curation and global market strategy. Ode was most recently named one of 12 BIPOC artist management agency’s to watch by Business Insider. Ode has worked with Universal Music Canada, Mass Appeal, Audiomack, Netflix, Tunecore, Amazon, Spotify, VEVO, SOHO House, Lincoln Center, Meta, Applaus, Kulture Khazana, 5XFest, DesiFest and many more on partnership campaigns, events and strategy. Jashima served as co-producer of Central Park Summerstage’s Basement Bhangra all South Asian line-up in 2022. Prior to launching her agency, Jashima served as a freelance writer covering topics across music, culture, and grief, notably scaling South Asian diaspora publication, Browngirlmagazine.com’s music division and serving as podcast co-host for Hip-Hop outlet, Central Sauce.
