Reshmi Nair has covered breaking news stories over the past 20 years as a reporter and anchor for local and national newscasts with CTV News, CBC News, and CP24 before becoming the host of The Rush on Newstalk1010 Toronto – cementing her childhood dreams of hosting a live call-in radio program that creates a comfortable space for great storytelling.
Nair began her broadcasting career in British Columbia with Mountain FM. She continued as a radio reporter with News1130, winning an Edward R. Murrow Award for Spot News Coverage of an oil pipeline rupture in Burnaby, B.C. She later moved to television with CTV News then CBC News, returning to CTV in 2020 to host CTV NewsNight on Quibi, CP24TONIGHT, and now The Rush on NewsTalk1010 Toronto! Reshmi is proud to call Toronto home.
