News professionals have a contradiction to deal with. There’s no question that news fatigue is real, yet audiences still rely on news radio outlets as trusted sources of news and information when they want and need it. Radio has the opportunity to offer balanced coverage and storytelling that fulfills its purpose to keep the public informed without adding to their fatigue. In this session, we’ll explore ways to face this contradiction head on.
