Canadian Music Week/CAAMA presents
CMW Music Industry Market Report & Directory
In partnership with Martin Melhuish
Canadian Music Week (CMW) in association with C.A.A.M.A. (Canadian Association for the Advancement of Music & the Arts), is excited to team up with Canada’s Literary Music Man, Martin Melhuish, to transcribe the CMW Music Industry Market Report & Directory, in response to popular demand from countless international delegates that attend CMW each year. The CMW Music Industry Market Report & Directory will focus on and analyze all parts of the Canadian music industry, which includes hundreds of verified market facts and contacts within venues, live event services, promoters, publishers, recording services, studios, associations, organizations, festivals, events, media, consultants and more!
Canadian Music Week has been successfully organizing international Spotlight and Focus events and initiatives for over ten years, providing market research in key worldwide territories such as France, Italy, U.K., Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Japan, Korea, Nordic Region, Latin America, Spain, Portugal, Singapore, South East Asia, India, and China. Each year, international delegates from these territories participate at CMW and ask the same question, “Where is the Canadian Market Report to help with exporting artists?”
“After more than a decade of hosting international buyers and working closely on export development, we are finally bridging the gap across all music sectors to deliver a market report and directory that focuses on Canada. CMW has held numerous Spotlights and Focuses, as well as an annual International Market place, to help narrow in on important international markets that should do business with Canadians. Now we can give everyone what they’ve been asking for… a guide that will support internationals executing business in Canada with up to date resources and contacts.” – Neill Dixon, President, Canadian Music Week
