Malory, an award-winning artist originally from South Africa/UK and now based in Toronto, seamlessly blends alt-pop, indie, and folk, drawing comparisons to Lorde, Olivia Rodrigo, and Regina Spektor. With a knack for writing and production, Malory has secured hundreds of TV placements on shows like Netflix’s ‘Love Is Blind’, Love Island US/AUS, and FX’s Welcome to Wrexham, among others. She boasts over a decade of live performance experience, including supporting George Ezra and appearing at festivals such as BBC Radio 2’s Hyde Park Festival and The Great Escape.
Since relocating to Toronto in 2019, Malory has made her mark on the local music scene, performing at venues including the Painted Lady, Supermarket and Budweiser’s Corona Stage. She’s set to headline the Drake Underground in March 2024.
Not just a live talent, Malory’s skills as a female producer have earned her recognition, including a Production Music Award in 2022 for Best Folk/Rock song. In addition to her musical endeavours, Malory is committed to empowering women in the industry, speaking at events like PROMAX UK’s International Women’s Day panel and participating in sync-focused songwriting camps. With the upcoming launch of two EPs, Malory continues to push boundaries and shape the soundtrack of our lives.
