Born and raised in Nova Scotia, Canadian R&B artist JRDN is back from a hiatus and ready to showcase his new sound and energy. Collaborating with producers like Eestbound, Joel Stouffer of Dragonette, and Jenson Vaughn, JRDN has been hard at work during his time away, developing a more mature and refined artistry.
His 2010 debut album IAMJRDN produced the Gold-certified hits “U Can Have It All” and “Like Magic,” the latter earning him the 2012 SOCAN Urban Music Award and reaching #1 on the Much and MuchMore Music video charts. JRDN also received Juno nominations in 2012 and secured R&B/Soul Recording of the year for “Can’t Choose” Ft. Kardinal Offishall in 2014.
After a hiatus, JRDN resurfaced in 2018 with the radio hit “Rumours,” setting the stage for his highly anticipated return. His upcoming single, “What Do I Got To Do”, produced by award winning producer Joel Stouffer, is an exciting pop/R&B track showcasing the depth and hit-worthiness that JRDN is known for. “People are going to love this track,” he says. “It’s exciting and danceable, yet still tells part of my story and what I’ve been through the last few years.”
In the summer of 2023, JRDN’s single “What Do I Got To Do” attained impressive positions on various music charts, including #18 on the CBC Top 20 Chart, #35 on the CHR Canada Chart, and #38 on the Hot AC Chart.
