Brekky Boy are an Australian electronic jazz rock trio who chuck things at each other on stage and occasionally play in 4/4. Giving up the dream of competing in the World Surf League, Brekky Boy decided to have a go at jazz. Their latest EP ‘Seita’ was not nominated in the 2024 Grammy Awards but received praise from uncles and aunties alike.
The Montreux Jazz Award nominees have toured the world in search of the best hot dog at festivals SXSW (US), Montréal International Jazz Festival (CA), Montreux Jazz Festival (CH), London Jazz Festival (UK), Jazzahead (DE), Saalfelden Jazz Festival (AT) and more but are yet to find the winner.
In 2023 Brekky Boy performed at the same time as Snarky Puppy in Ottawa and 44% of the crowd didn’t leave. In 2024 they will support Snarky Puppy in Sydney and are hoping that number goes up to 45%.
