Shawn Conner is a journalist who has been covering the Canadian music and arts scene since 1996. Outlets for his work include the Vancouver Sun, the Globe & Mail, and Time Out. He is a long-time member of the Polaris Jury and served on the 2024 Junos committee for Comedy Album of the Year. His book Superheroes Smash the Box Office was published in 2023 by McFarland. He lives in Vancouver with his cat Madison and several plants in various states of decay.
