16 plus years in the industry has not halted Pule Mokoa’s fervour for foregrounding artist advancement in the digital age of the music business. Having worked at established record labels as a PR manager, while simultaneously establishing his own presence as an artist, Pule has navigated the rapidly evolving industry and emerged as a notable person of interest in the digital landscape. His tenure at CCA has demonstrated his remarkable affinity for artist relations as well as a robust and in-depth knowledge of digital and music specific trends.

Prior to his appointment at CCA, Pule has close to 17 years in the industry: business and artist space, working at established record labels before venturing into the digital world. From Content Manager and now currently Head of A&R & Marketing, he brings in depth knowledge of the back-end processes of streaming. His experience in Artist Relations is empowered by a robust understanding of digital, as well music specific trends. His solid relationships within the African artistic community is essential in attracting and securing prominent South African content for all digital networks (online and mobile), Formerly Account manager for key labels, artists and platforms, he has now assumed the positions as Head of A&R and Marketing of Content Connect Africa and Gallo.


Content Connect Africa (Pty) Ltd (CCA) is an independently owned South African media and content business based in Johannesburg. Extensive experience in the African entertainment industry has allowed CCA to establish itself as a content aggregator and content provider across the continent and worldwide. Key focus being on-portal and off-portal localized content delivered to mobile operators and third party clients throughout the African continent. Gallo Music Investments which is under the company ARENA Holdings recently took an equity stake in CCA, acquiring shares of the dynamic entertainment company.

CCA over time has acquired the digital rights and licenses of highly desirable African and International products, services, including music, entertainment, mobile television content and games.

CCA has established itself as a reliable creator and provider of multiple mobile delivery protocols. With a view to bridging the digital divide for the vast number of new media users throughout Africa, the company is constantly developing entertainment services that reflect and fit with the cultural values and unique nature of this emerging market.

The business continues to grow and CCA has evolved into a business with a 360 offering. Distribution, marketing, publishing as well as specialized services such as publishing and sync clearances.


Gallo Music is the longest running independent recording label and music publisher in Africa, managing the largest catalogue of African master recordings in the world and providing one-stop music services to an impressive roster of artists and collaborators.

The company has travelled an epic journey from Brunswick Gramophone House, a small music shop in 1926 downtown Johannesburg, to a recording giant with diversified subsidiaries and international partnerships.
