Paula Griffith is renowned globally as both a captivating singer and distinguished vocal coach in the music industry, captivating audiences worldwide with her mesmerizing vocals and unparalleled expertise. Over two decades, she has effortlessly navigated through various genres, including R&B, Pop, Gospel, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Country and Rock, solidifying her position as one of North America’s preeminent vocal coaches.

Graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from The University of Toronto and certified as a Specialist of Vocal Styles from The Berklee College of Music, Paula’s classical training and innovative techniques have revolutionized vocal instruction. Her pioneering curriculum at Seneca College introduced the first accredited Pop, R&B, and Contemporary vocal program in Canada. Paula’s influence extends beyond the classroom; she served as head vocal coach on Y.T.V.’s hit reality show ‘The Next Star’ and contributed to artist development programs with Arrival Music and Sony Music Canada. Her students have achieved remarkable success, signing major recording, management, and publishing contracts with companies that have worked with industry icons like Sia, Katy Perry, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, and Ariana Grande. They have also collaborated with producers like L.A. Reid, Ludacris, and labels including Warner Music, Universal and Sony Music Entertainment.

Notable achievements of her students include Sofia Evangelina winning the Young Artist Academy Award for ‘Best Album’ in Hollywood, becoming a chart-topping R&B singer; Jayd Deroche landing a lead role in Mirvish’s ‘Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat’ and appearing in a #1 Netflix series, Nickelodeon, and OWN Network films. Additionally, Sofia Kay achieved three No. 1 songs on the Billboard Charts with We the Guard Record Label. Most of Paula’s students have also gone on to successful careers in Musical Theatre, appearing on Broadway and Mirvish productions such as ‘Frozen,’ ‘Matilda,’ and ‘Annie’.

As CEO and founder of Pure Voice Inc., Paula created a revolutionary vocal instructional product line crafted from her extensive research and experience. With offerings such as ‘Pure Voice R&B’ and ‘Pure Voice Pop,’ she empowers singers to unlock their full potential and channel their favorite icons. Paula’s teaching philosophy emphasizes listening and communication, fostering profound transformations in her students. Beyond vocal excellence, she offers holistic performance coaching, integrating mind, body, and soul to deliver captivating performances.

Paula’s illustrious singing career includes performances for industry giants like Quincy Jones and Elton John, working with Grammy award winners like Jill Scott and Arrested Development, as well as mentorship by the likes of Juno winner Liberty Silver. She has graced esteemed venues including Roy Thompson Hall and Massey Hall, leaving audiences enthralled by her enchanting performances.

Paula’s journey also encompasses three original albums and collaborations with renowned producers from New York, Toronto, and L.A.
