Working with emerging artists both through Sofar Sounds and her independent social media services, Laura works a niche role within the Vancouver music scene supporting upcoming musicians and singer/songwriters. Specializing in social media marketing and content creation, Laura’s involvement in Vancouver’s music scene has ranged from content creation for independent artists, marketing for a local live music venue “The Cobalt Cabaret”, to creating social media content for Sofar Sounds’ Vancouver market. Across the variety of projects she takes on, Laura’s work is driven by the same goal – to shed light on the new and exciting sounds that are coming out of the city and helping artists find their audiences.
