GHALIA

Jordan-born, Toronto-based 24-year-old GHALIA is a House/RnB/Pop artist who has had a passion for creating music and singing ever since she got her hands on a keyboard at the age of 6. She uses writing and performing her songs as a form of therapy – often focusing around themes of love, relationships, and anxiety. GHALIA studied audio engineering, music production, and songwriting at the Toronto Trebas Institute – a crucial step in following her dreams of making a career out of her passion for music. Her genre-bending sound of Deep and Melodic House sprinkled with elements of RnB/Pop, packaged in modern electronic production, reveals influences from some of her favourite artists including Chase Atlantic, RAYE, Always Never, MEDUZA, and Justin Bieber. With plans to release brand new singles this year, GHALIA’s passion for writing carefully crafted lyrics combined with her soaring vocals is sure to please the ears of many.
