Caron Nightingale has been involved in almost every area of the music business for more than 40 years. Beginning her career as a touring artist, she later expanded into writing and producing commercial songs, jingles, and film music, earning numerous accolades along the way. In 1992, Caron founded Nightingale Music, a globally recognized and respected company that represents indie artists and produces and publishes music and sound effects for licensing.

Nightingale Music can be heard in just about every country and network with more than 10,000 sync placements internationally. In addition to the many awards Nightingale has received, in October 2017, the company received the prestigious PMA Mark Award for Best Vocal Song. In 2020, its production music catalog was acquired by Sony Music. Caron has also spoken on many industry panels, including Sundance and the Toronto Film Festival.

In 2012, Caron opened the Canadian office of APM Music, one of the largest production music libraries in the world, co-owned by Universal Music Group and Sony, where she currently serves as the Director of Sales, Canada. APM Music provides the most comprehensive collection of music available for licensing to entertainment and media producers, offering over 1 million tracks of every music style to U.S. and Canada-based production clients. In 2023, APM Music was featured in 98 Emmy-nominated productions alone, cementing its status as the premier choice for music in film, television, radio, and all media.
