Duncan is one of the world’s best strategic content directors and has been programming successfully, not only in Australia but internationally for the past 35 years.
From his earliest success re-launching PMFM (now 92.9) in Perth back in 1991, to working at Austereo, being head hunted by Triple M for the role of Group Program Director to working internationally in Malaysia to working as a consultant in New Zealand, the UK and Europe and then living and working in the UK for 8 years. Duncan has enjoyed an impressive level of success across multiple countries and multiple formats.
He returned to Australia in 2010 to accept the role of Chief Content Officer for the Australian Radio Network (ARN) and together with CEO Ciaran Davis he rebuilt ARN from an underperforming network to be the #1 radio network in Australia. Duncan hired Kyle & Jackie O from 2DAY FM in an historic move in 2014 and employed Christian O’Connell’s from the UK in 2018 to host Gold 104.3 breakfast which is now the #1FM Breakfast Show in Melbourne.
In 2022, ARN achieved its most successful ratings ever and remains the #1 radio network and the #1 Podcast Publisher in Australia.
