Chris has been the Executive Director of Radio & Audio for CBC English Services since July 2011 with responsibility for programming and day to day operations of CBC Radio as well as the execution of its strategic plan. He oversees programming and schedules for two national over-the-air networks, one digital music service and 35 local stations across Canada.

Prior to becoming Executive Director, Chris held positions as Programming Director and as Director of Program Development where designed a new process for pitching and developing programs and talent at CBC Radio. He has been instrumental in the development of numerous CBC programs including Q, Wiretap, Age of Persuasion, White Coat Black Art, Spark, and Randy Bachman’s Vinyl Tap. Under his direction as Programming Director, CBC Radio has achieved some of its strongest audiences in recent years.

Chris lives in Toronto and is a graduate of the Radio & Television Arts program at Ryerson University.
